This is basically an emergency posting....Folks it's really getting bad out there. I'm getting more and more calls from people are are renting and then getting foreclosure notices. Do yourself a favor right now, call your landlord and tell them that you've been hearing about the foreclosure problem and the effect it's having on tenants. I know it's rather uncomfortable but so is getting kicked out of the house in January! Tust me, this is going to get worse before it's gets better. The unfortunate thing is that these landlords that are going under will never tell you the truth about it.

Also, BE VERY careful when signing leases that put an amount over and above market rents towards the purchase price. This would be a rent with option arrangement. In some cases the owner is taking the money knowing that they are going to be foreclosed upon! Be smart people.....Any questions call me.
