Hello all you rental people! Happy New Year! My hope is that all of you do the right thing in locating rental homes this year.
It's simply getting worse
more and more of you are getting into properties listed by for rent by owners. Uggg! Stay away! The economy is not going to get better according to the experts. More homes will go into foreclosure and with that are the scams. Do you realize that many people who know they are going to get foreclosed advertise there home on craigslist or other for by owner websites and get people just like you that give them a deposit, first months rent and if your not in the know perhaps you will squander over 2months rent? I've seen it folks! It's as real as it gets. Read the article I have linked to for another scam going on. The home being rented may not even belong to the person advertising it!!!
Moving on....
I could go on and on about this. I still to this day have no idea why smart people use such worthless resources. Well, I know why but I'll save that for another day. Bottom line, if you want to spend weeks, time, money, gas and probably pay too much, please DO NOT CALL ME when you get a foreclosure notice on your home because you used these resources. Call me now, I'll save you time and alot of it like 2-4 weeks. I avg 3-5 hours with any client. Call me if you want to make sure you're paying the right price. Call me if you want a professional to ask all of the questions. Trust me, you think just because you have rented 2 or 3 or properties you are an expert, right? Yea, I know. I did 3 rentals last week not to mention the rentals I've done over 23 years. Do you think this experience might, just might pay off for you? The answer is yes.
